Default 1000 Engine Friday Preview

We were kindly invited to attend prior to the weekend opening to have a look around. The ground is dry and very firm, the sun shone all day and we were treated to exhibitors turning up throughout the day. Everyone we talked to said that they enjoyed attending this rally because of the friendly atmosphere that pervades the whole weekend. We saw a few of the engines arrive but at least three more were on their way but they had too pass two pubs and stop to take on water.

There was a large auction of what my wife would call 'junk' and it was a treat in itself just watching the bidders trying to hide the fact that they were bidding.

Get yourself over there tomorrow, you will thank me for the advice . . . . .

I don't know them at all but they seemed to be enjoying the day. They knew I was taking the picture and didn't seem to mind.
