Default Brown & May Day - 14th July 2013

BROWN & MAY DAY

ENGINEERS, IRON & BRASS FOUNDERS, BOILER MAKERS
& GENERAL MACHINISTS.


Brown & May closed its’ doors to customers in 1913. It stood in Eastcourt Street, Devizes. To commemorate this firm and celebrate its’ products, there will be a display on

Sunday 14th July 2013
10am - 5pm
at
Devizes Trailer Centre, London Road, Devizes
SN10 2EP

The display will include 14 full sized engines including; portable steam engines, steam tractor, steam showmans engine; steam models; oil engine and other items produced at North Wilts Foundary.

Free entry. Everybody welcome. Local parking.

Nine Brown & Mays here in Devizes already. The rest are on their way today. Weather is booked too !

Thanks to those of you who are coming long distances to help us celebrate this Wiltshire engine builder 100 years since they closed.

It was Woodcote and Rempstone Saturday and then Devizes on Sunday actually.

A helicopter would be nice, but I'm still using 4 wheels at the minute
