We were there and had a mighty fab time as ever. The spitfire display was errr underwhelming to say the least considering how much money was spent on it. Lovely showground and ideal for miniatures. The 4" Ruston had was in steam for over 5 hours each day and running for most of that in high gear. The coal was really top quality as well.
Well done Alan & Mandy Latham (the steam stewards) who worked really hard to organise our section. The company was excellent as ever with 19 of us sitting round the yog on Sunday night having a sing-song until midnight but now need to dry out before Lingfield... |
