Default Burrell steersman seat spring/bracket.

Does anybody know of the whereabouts of a Burrell steersman seat bracket (the sprung bit which folds up and down) which is for sale or know of anybody able to make one? Looking to fit a steersman seat to our 5nhp traction engine. Must be in a condition suitable for use.

Thanks, Rob.

Hi Rob
If you want to come and have a look at the one of the Bridson Burrell 3098 and make some drawings you can.

Dale.

I'd rather stand up and steer a Burrell than sit on one of those.

Its quite easy to jack yourself of the seat if you are of a smaller build.

I need a replacement for the Ruston seat bracket spring. I guess a road spring maker could manufacture one.

Any recommendations?
