Cheers

Great photos.

What's the bit of kit between the cylinder and chimney on Maclaren 1314 - feed water heater?

Hi what is a gang saw ? and have you any pictures of it please ?
I assume it is a multiple blade saw for stone or wood.

This one was a three blade reciprocating band saw (as opposed to more modern styles of band saws that run in a loop). The box on the front of a McLaren is a feed water heater, but that's pretty much as far as my understanding goes!

A group from Melbourne Steam Traction Engine Club roaded from Bendigo to Echuca (which is about 100km/60 miles). There were two Foden trucks, a Sentinel, Marshall RL and Wallis and Steevens replica by Atkinson Engineering on the run - I hope I haven't missed anyone!). I'm sure Doublecrank will have a few photos/video!

Cheers
