Default New Forest Show

In addition to other engines in the Old Time Farming display it was nice to see Hampshire County Museum Services' Tasker wagon ( No.1915) at this years show. It was driven down from Winchester and will be driven back tomorrow ( Friday) leaving the showground at about 1100/1130 and proceeding via Lyndhurst and Cadnam.

Any photos? There was a drum down there that I very much wanted to have a look at but was unable to wrangle the time off work.

Piers
There are 2 short videos now of drum working for the first time in 60 years in the New Forest on You Tube, the site of the show is the farm where my Dad threshed in 1942, I used the Trusser that worked for the first time in 60 years on the tuesday but then put it on display instead and used the Massey Baler, some photos on Flicker later today, 3 very hot days for me pitching sheaves between talking to many many people about my photo display etc, and some people I had not seen since my school days. Regards Jimmy

Thanks Jimmy. That 'high wheel' trusser looks in great shape.
