Default Harrison L5....3J chuck/backplate

A long shot, may be... but I was wondering whether anyone had a 3 jaw chuck, 7-8", with back plate, for a Harrison L5. The biggest I have is a 5", and it's a bit small for some of the jobs I am doing on it.
With thanks,
Naomi

Default Chuch request

Hiya Naomi

Are you a member of or ever look at the Homeworkshop site - https://www.homeworkshop.org.uk/

There is a chap selling off large 3 and 4 jaw chucks at present - will probably need to sort your own backplates however.

Did you get the pm I sent re. the MSRVS show? Have a few photos of you and your girls driving.......

Cheers

Grum

Hi Naomi
I know it is not ideal but if you are stuck you are welcome to come over and use my lathe. I live just south of Launceston so it would only take 20 minutes to get here
regards
Andrew

Thanks for that, Andrew.
I do have access to another lathe just down the road from me - but it’ll be good to sort my own workshop out, as I often pop in my garage for an hour or 2 in the evenings.
Best wishes
Naomi
