Default Woolpit Rally, 26th May 2012

Had a good afternoon here at Woolpit, was last at the show 14 years ago. Still a nice small show which donates profits to local charities, last year £13,500 according to programme. Not just but a good all round selection of exhibits. This year they made a feature of Motor Ploughs. Here is the steam, enjoy.

Fowler 16235

Garrett 333582

Default Walsh & Clark 1921

Although these are not traction engines, these are a form of progression from steam to oil/petrol, parafin. But how the belt stayed on the engine as it bunced all of the place being a single cylinder is noone's buisness.

They are a pair, and belong to M.E.A.L (Museam of East Anglian Life) at Stowmarket, Suffolk. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Hope that helps.

Very sorry we couldn't make it this weekend with our RS&J - personal circumstances wouldn't allow it. Glad it was a good show, we always have enjoyed Woolpit.

Great pics too guys.
