Good choice Clive, I think the Three Greyhounds is a prime location and will bring in a lot of passing punters when they see the smoke, the food is good as well, will see you there.

All coming together well. The landlord is also trying to arrange a wider range of beers available for the weekend, it could be turning into a Beer Festival with steam and vintage vehicles. I feel a headache coming on already. Brian and I are now trying to get both the Miniature Showman's to the event as its not far from us and we are looking for a few more engines to attend.

Hope the weather is nice.....

I should be there for a day (or two) with the 4" Ruston (hopefully). My prayers have been said for good weather.

Cheers

Tez

Hi Mark,
Holmes Chapel Road, Alostock, Cheshire, WA16 9JY. The landlord is getting well behind the event, I am looking forward to it, its just a shame that my engine will not be in steam.

Greg, Brian told me you were bringing the Devonshire down, I'm looking forward to seeing it.

See you all soon.

Dwain

Hi all

An update from the Landlord for the Three Greyhounds, he is organising a mini beer festival and we have got use of the field behind the car parkfrom the farmer who uses the land for parking caravans, tents trailers and low loaders. He is also organising a bouncy castle and face painting for kids of all ages and is trying to make it into a small country event.

The address is: The Three Grey Hounds, Holmes Chapel Road, LAch Dennis/Alostock (Cross Roads), Knutsford, WA16 9JY

Lets make it a good turn out for the start of the Cheshire Season

Clive
