Pre Rally Road Run August 18th
There is some enthusiasm for a trip out with engines in the Mawla/Mount Hawke area on Thursday 18th August.It is an ocasion that I have always maintained in memory of the late Alan Thomas. This year John Winter and Peter Butterick will be attending with their McLarens, I shall be bringing Burrell 3919. One or two others have shown some interest.
I asume we shall be on the road by 11 am, leaving near the old WESES rally site entrance, down the valley to Porthtowan and then lunch at the Victory Inn at the very summit of engine hill.Following this we make our way to Stithians via Scorrier and Comford- however there are other routes!
