Default Abbey Hill Steam Rally 2023

Economising, we gave Trevithick Day in Camborne a miss but a well known visitor reported that there had been a bumper crowd who were well satisfied with their day out.

Instead we went to Abbey Hill in Yeovil on the Sunday which the weather forecast predicted would provide some afternoon sunshine, which duly appeared.

It's a classic small / medium sized rally and, as far as I could see all the engines were from the West Country, although I was not aware that Mann tractor 1747 had left Beamish where it had always been locked away during my visits. Garrett tractor 'Cornish Star' had also reappeared for the first time for quite a few years..

As always the report can be accessed from the current index page:

Must have missed the two from Cheshire and the one from Staffordshire.
