Default Torbay Steam Fair 2015, Mostly working/moving Steam.

My first ever visit to this event but a very enjoyable week-end, this was also my very first attempt at event photography so photos are perhaps not of the excellent quality of our regular Traction Talk photographers, this was a rally much like a mini- Great Dorset with Threshing, Sawing, Ploughing, Stone Crushing and hauling in the play pen, with the crew of "Joe Chamberlain" busy all week-end loading timber and moving crushed stone, thanks to the organisers, volunteers and exhibitors including Ruth and Roy with "Nightmare" for an interesting conversation, and "Turbo" Vincent for providing excitement in the play-pen Saturday (shame there is no sound to stills to hear the sound of those Fowler gears) and the lady that thought our Spaniel a regular rally attender looked cute and took a photo for us on our 51st Wedding Anniversary.

Creating entertainment for the large crowd... most of whom as public were cheering and a small number of engine folk, most of whom were not cheering... I'm surprised there's no videos on youtube yet!

Here are more photos from a very enjoyable event, very friendly with a great atmosphere. And as always a privilege to be able to look after an engine at an event like this! We had a nice run and very good meal out on the Saturday too with Excelsior and Margaret:

Thanks for the pics Jimmy. I was standing next to you on the downward pics. we even said a few words to each other.
If you look at the pic of Excelsior and Wallace going up, I'm the fat bloke with the camera, and the blue Animal T Shirt, standing on the steps.
