Dingles Fairground.

Okay, I know it's not a steam event, but this weekend at Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre.

Saturday 7th December. Christmas Market. 10am to 4pm. All of our vintage rides will be operating, except The Skid. (Tokens required for all rides).

Sunday 8th December. Christmas Carol Concert. 2pm to 4pm. All of our vintage rides will be operating, except the Rodeo Switchback. (Tokens required for all rides).

Admission on each day is reduced to £3, proceeds going to charity.

Had a trip out to this today. Was a good day, pretty much all the rides were working and some interesting things to walk around and peer at but very sadly no steam

Oops forgot all about it as my Grandson was admitted to hospital on Friday and he wasn't too grand. I stayed with him until nearly 9pm and then I went to see how he was doing on Saturday and I clean forgot about the Dingles Event.

Anybody who decided to go to Dingles today for the Carol Concert is in for a pleasant surprise.

Anderton and Rowland's Number 1 fairground organ has been coupled up to Scammell Showtrac "Gladiator" and will be entertaining in the yard.

This wonderful organ, which regularly appeared at G.D.S.F. no longer travels, and is rarely seen in public.
