Stotfold Christmas Road Run 2013

Sunday 29th December

Starting from Saunders Yard, Arlesey Road, Stotfold around 10am and passing through Arlesey and Stotfold and the surrounding area, stopping at various public houses along the route, ending up at The Orange Tree Public House in Baldock http://www.theorangetreebaldock.com/ where there will be live evening entertainment.

Stotfold is just off the A1 at J10

Mark any of the engines going to the orange tree?

What's the plan for the engines once we get to the Orange Tree? Normally the run finished at the Fox and Duck so engines were put in the yard before the serious partying started. I am coming down with my nephew to take one of the engines out so I am curious to know what happens once we finish in Baldock.

We will have the normal run but a couple of the showmans will probably end up back at the pub in Baldock for the evening.

It really is a nice pub with an equally nice landlord so I think we will be treated well.

Will the engines be going down norton road by the football club? If so ive got a little favour to ask the drivers please

A request for the engine men if possible please, my little brother got killed just after the motorway bridge wondering if they wouldnt mind stopping for a minute and sounding there whistles as im sure he will be on the road run in spirit ,
