Default GDSF 2015 Saturday

Concentrating on the working areas as the playpen gets lots of coverage.

Apologies for the rotated portable - its been twisted in the upload!

Wallis was 2952 of 1902

Were visitor numbers as thin as they look?

Yes, the Wallis is the newly restored Saunders one.

I've been on a weekday usually, so I'm not sure how much busier a Saturday normally is. The North carpark I was in was fuller than I've seen midweek. The main runs through the site were very busy during the afternoon with people, so I can't say it was noticeably quiet.

Shame, I've been belted up to it all week. Had a cracking show, just in the queue now on the way home.

Great photos, the miniature 'Simplicity' is a great model! Would have been good to line it up in front of 'Supreme'!

Was the Hindley that was in steam in the Forest and Farm area (Ian's rotated image), the same engine
that appeared at Dorset in 2004, in an unrestored state?
