Default Skeyton Trosh 2018

This is a 'small but perfectly formed' event in north Norfolk, with the emphasis on local, engines, stalls and entertainment.
In case you're not familiar with the word 'trosh', here's a clue:-

The central attraction was 'Monty', a 1928 Marshall no. 83780.

Monty is in beautiful condition, both externally and mechanically. It was a real pleasure to stand in the warmth of the engine and listen to the musical beat of the exhaust as the sheaves were fed into the drum.

The wheat being threshed was an old, long strawed variety and the bunches will eventually be used for thatching.

One man and his dog.

There was also a very smart 1914 A&P GND tractor no. 8384 'Duke of Norfolk'.

The Duke seen on a trundle round the farm roads.

Another Marshall was this 1935 roller no. 87618.

Wallis & Steevens no. 7801 'Wanda' of 1924.

The final large engine was this roller conversion, 1930 Fowler no.18074.

Not to be left out, and obviously enjoying themselves, were this miniature Burrell and one of the two Fodens present.

Lots of classic tractor ploughing and other activities, plus some of the best ever cake from the local scout troop.
Bill.
