Default Miniature Event in Cornwall

I've been asked to communicate this forthcoming event :-

Kernow Mill would like to hold a small Steam Rally on the 1st June. Kernow Mill is situated on the A38 Trerulefoot round-about in Cornwall and holds several small events throughout the year. This year they would like to try something new -* a small Steam Engine Rally. This would be a perfect opportunity for owners of miniature traction engines, lorries/wagons etc. to get together and show their machines. If you are interested in coming to the event please call Zoe Gallagher or Julie Bishop on 01752 851898 or email trerkm346@ewm.co.uk

Suggest that you get hold of WESES as they have a extensive collection of miniatures at Stithians every year and maybe they would be able to put the word around for you. Also, try contacting the organisers of Morval and Boconnoc rallies as they may be able to do the same. If you don't have contact details, email me on heritageman1954@gmail.com and I will pass the details on to you.

I think that this is a brilliant idea and should be very successful. Don't forget to contact Vintage Spirit and Old Glory magazines and they will post details free of charge as news items.

I do not think that the event ever took place. I offered to help with the organisation and Kernow Mill were happy to have my help. However, when i suggested about supplying free coal for the miniatures and helping with their transport costs, I heard no more! I took my family down to the Eden Project on that day and when we passed Kernow Mill there were no roadside signs advertising the event and no smoke rising from their car park so i assume that the event was a non starter.
