Default WOKTS Autumn Road Run

Just a few (unprofessional) pictures from today’s Weald of Kent Traction Engine Society autumn road run to the Smarden Bell public house, which is becoming an annual event, plagues permitting, and a great opportunity to enjoy the smell of Welsh Steam Coal being burnt before it all runs out! Traction Engine is a bit of a misnomer as it is for all forms of vintage transport and is a great little end of season get together. Weather was most accommodating being reasonably warm in the sun but a bit chilly in the shade!

Nice selection of road steam, cars and motorcycles, sun shone with an opportunity for a pint and a bite coffee wasn’t bad either!

Paul.

Thank you for posting the photos and report Paul. Yes we were lucky with the weather and thank you to everyone who attended.

We very much look forward to being joined by a 6” Savage next year…

David
