Don’t panic folks!
I drove past the site this morning to do a job on the farm next door and good progress is being made on the site. Some of the large marquees have been erected in main show field which is grass, including the real ale tent. The South car park, holding area and some of the camping areas are cut and the straw baled and cleared. The combine is in the Steam ploughing field today which as far as I can see only leaves the Oats to cut in the North car park. So all is looking good for another great show, the forecast for the week end down here however is rather wet!! As I mentioned in a previous post for those who don’t know it the site does drain very well; mud to dust in two hours! We plan to move down over the bank holiday week end, let’s hope the weather has sorted it’s self out by then. Tim |
