Anyone going through Newarke on their way to Lincoln may like to know that 'Tornado' is passing through at 11.13 on Saturday and back at 19.30 ish, taking on water at Newarke on the return. If I have done, I apologise for contaminating this thread.

where from and too? Just wondering if there are any vantage points for me as I live newark end of lincoln and might have a look before coming up

Always a good line up of engines at Lincoln with lots of interesting exhibits but it is a 'stationary' engine rally - nothing moves apart from the ring parade. Come to Old Warden and you will see engines moving under their own power throughout the day and into the evening.

Why is it some rallies have engines moving about and some have them confined to their peg?
