Thetford road run

Does anyone know if the Thetford road run will be taking place this year for the miniatures?.

I've had a good look around but couldn't find a thing apart from a video on youtube.

We cant use the car park as change on owner, but iam still looking for 1 or 2 engines to be in steam outside. We are opening on saturday 30th (this sat) If anyone would like to bring an engine please contact me before coming as we have very little room. Yes I've read about the problems uncounted in the past with the car park - bloody bureaucrats

Would have been nice to have possibly gotten the local council to back the museum up 100% seeing the income a days steaming around the town might have generated for the local economy, there I go, dreaming again .

Maybe better luck another year

What makes me laugh is that the police want the burrell museum to pay to shut the road, on a day that the shops are all shut.

Shut the road !!
We're all road legal, if we wanted to be naughty we could turn up
steam round and round the town all day
cause absolute traffic chaos
and there wouldn't be a thing that anyone could do.

What really makes me laugh is that a museum wants to put a day on for the tourists and locals and we HAVE to pay
but commit a crime or stay overnight in the cells and its free of charge
I think something is a bit backwards here.
