Warkton Whistle & Welly Wanging...

We are having a small steam gathering (weather permitting) on April 26th, 27th this year in Warkton Village, Near Ketteing, Nothants.

A handfull of engines are confirmed as going, a couple more hoping to have winter repairs complete in time and we are looking to welcome a few models as well.

Normal village steam shin-dig stuff (hence the title) with most of the steam expected to arrive from Saturday lunchtime onwards - we should be there slightly earlier as it is only 100 yards away!

Entrance is free and all are welcome to come along if you are in the area, and if there are any local engine and/or model engine owners who might be interested in bringing their engines, please PM me - there is limited space but I am sure we could always get a couple more in!

Unfortunately this has had to be cancelled. We live in hope that it will come back later, but for now there will be no early season steam-up in Warkton Village
