Some pictures from the SODEM Road Run which took place near Lechlade in Gloucestershire today. 14 engines, an excellent turn out and almost no room left at the Inn!

Why oh why can't we organize something in Essex like this ? ? ?
I'd be willing to help with the organization and take part, I don't yet have the knowledge or contacts. And I ain't going to get them sitting here, looking at other people enjoy their engines.
So come on Essex, we are way behind. Sod Christmas, that's the 25th of December NOT NOW.

Can I thank everybody who attended this years road run.
This year we had the most engines in the 10+ years i have been going. The weather was fantastic everybody seems to have enjoyed themselved

Looked a very good event and perhaps a better way to enjoy an engine with good company, good beer, good fun.

Sadly I didn't quite get things sorted with machining so stayed and sulked & sucked me thumb, boo hoo !!
