I used to crew on Fowler 11111 when owned by Geoff Mathews and watching the flywheel on that whilst pulling hard up Watford Gap in Dorset was frightening.
More used to Burrell manufacture these days, and 'Joe Chamberlain' flexes a little. The crank for that came from Ted Freeman who had it as a spare for The Dalesman. It was the original out of Joe Chamberlain.

Geoff seemed to get more enthusiastic the more it wobbled - a kind of visual 'power meter'.
