Dave went Thursday and reported the place was looking a bit 'patchy' compared to other years especially the car boot section.

Be patient Carl for photos I have just got home, had to struggle through the crowd most of the day queue for ages for ice cream and in the beer tent, very hot there but as always at Dorset a very enjoyable day, plenty of engines in the working area and playpen and of course the line up of Showmans looked to me no different than other years, and I will be back there again Sunday.

Yes very hot, too bright for good Photos but I have taken some.

I am feeling a bit grumpy, my sat-nav went blank just outside the gates, that was no problem but have you ever tried to find a Hotel that you have never been to before in the dark?

Going to a pub now after a shower but not this one,

Not a great change around in engines, lots of public. The main showmans line was as long as usual, but there were fewer elsewhere. Worth the trip to see the Foden Speedsters, Independence and the Steam Plough Club displays. There was a visiting NZ Burrell (3522) and boy, that McLaren roller is big!

Those magnificent Fodens! The Speed Twelve took some turns around the lower play pen, but didn't head up through Watford Gap.

One to look forward to in the future. This is a Sentinel of unknown number discovered in NZ(if I remember correctly) and now in the process of rebuilding by 'Turbo' Vincent.

Cracking do once again. Plenty of engines to see. The Foden speeds were fantastic.
