Default Bill Targett Steam Rally 15th 16th May 2010

With a new committee in place planning for this years event is well underway. Despite last years bad weather we managed to raise £1000 for Wessex Cancer Trust.
If you wish to enter something which you feel may be of interest to others please download an entry form at billtargettrally.co.uk and send it to the appropiate section marshall. We have a large site at Winchester and this year have an area for public camping. If the weather is kinder this year it should be a good weekend for all. Currently 30 full size steam engines have entered.

We went last year with Ruston 52453. Brilliant rally. Shame about the weather, but there was still movement in the 'Playpen' and around the site. Highly recommended that you visit. Some pictures from last year:

Default Bill Targett Rally

Nice pictures.
Glad you enjoyed it.
It is hoped to have the grass a bit shorter this year and the weather a bit drier!!

Does anyone know if any haulage loads will be there again this year? As last year there were many attempts to move them about but without success due to the long wet grass, not the mud!

oOo, vintage bkie section sounds good.
I never take my bikes out cos rallies never have a section for them. I'll txt the organiser an investigate!

Nice idea!
