Default Himley park Vintage rally

If you are near Wolverhampton Sunday 4th June Himley park Vintage transport and country fair. Free in, but charges for the car park £2-50 / £3 A small but up and coming rally. Not sure which big engines are going but the Black country live steamers Miniature traction engines and Wolverhampton and District Model engineering Society 7 1/4" gauge Portable track with live steam will be there

Many friends met - Len cranes showmans there.
Severely restricted running area. Will think seriously about going next year,

Even with many years of doing steam events the Organizers cocked up and put market stalls across the miniatures running path. We hope next year will be a two day rally and lessons have been learnt. Hopefully we will be consulted as to our requirements.

I really enjoyed the show, thanks to David for the long chat, and it was the first time I can remember seeing the Minnie running under load.
I took our car and showed this, but left it in favour for spending all day looking at the engines.
