Default Lincolnshire Steam & Vintage Rally 16 & 17 August 2008

Held this weekend, 16th & 17th August, on the Lincolnshire Showground, just North of the city. Usually in the region of 100 full size traction engines from far and wide.

On this weekend! Ground conditions are very good, hard roads and mown grass anyway. They've only had a very minimal amount of rain this week too....

Yes, but lets try to look on the bright side eh! The showground stands up to the elements very well, tomorrow is looking a good day, so we can live in hope for the rest of the weekend.....

Probably my best show of the season .
I will be thankful if it stays dry , very good venue for this kind of event

it is a brilliant show in all sections. look out for Andrew Quincey's superb Ackroyd a fantastic engine. i have the Burrell 4" ssc roller loaded. if you see me over the weekend stop me and say hello.

I got here yesterday, the ground is good, but a little soft. A few patch showers yesteday, but we have brilliant sunshine today.
