Another first and another excellent rally.

As there are other types of transport at rallies' I have put on an eclectic mix so hopefully something for everyone.

It was a fantastic show. We were crewing the SBR engine on the Road Making Demo on Sunday and had a great time. Really impressed with the event. Well done to all involved

I believe it's 3522 of 1913, from New Zealand. Apparently over here for boiler work.

Yes, it's the Trotter. It made it into the parade ring on Sunday - but it was towed! The person looking after it told me he hopes it will be working next year.

The trotter roller is on loan from the Folk museum, it had a new boiler a few years ago but the pipework was not great. The boiler was removed and hydraulically tested 2 weeks ago and all was good. It's having a repaint and a bit of work and should hopefully be in steam next year.

Default WS Rodney

I left on Friday before it was sold. On Saturday, the word was that, with the usual extras, the price was of the order of £30k. Someone no doubt will know the exact hammer price.
