I would just like to thank The Irish Steam Engine Owners Association and everyone involved in Stradbally for inviting us over. The crac and the hospitality was second to none. I would also like to thank the Celtic Steamers and all of the Glynn family, especially my old pal Wobbly legs....aka Governor. The road run from Carlow on Saturday was fantastic even if raining. I just need to rest for a couple of weeks now, ready for Dorset.

I take it you were 'resting' after a good night of Irish hospitality! The Ransomes is described in the programme as a 9 ton engine built in 1901, no. 13865 |
