Default Maclaren 3 '' former wanted

Can anyone help, please. Has anyone got a former for the rear spectacle plate on the 3'' Maclaren, Either for sale or to loan, All expenses paid. Thanks' Mick

Mick. I think you will struggle to form the spec plate. Mine and others were made up of several pieces welded together. There are some pics and explanations in 4040,s build thread, as well as in one of Kevins posts, and also the 3" build thread.

John , hope you got my reply. I am now resigned to fabricating the spectacleplate as everyoner now suggest , only a firend of mine, a qualified engineer suggested a former, butit lookslike a lot of workfor a one off. Thanks for the help. Had a smashing time at Belper Rally last weekend, It only rained as we were leaving, and the coal supplied my Engine POLLY was blowing off most of the time and thats how I like it, bags of power to spare especially on such a bad field.
