Arrived Tuesday set up in minature camping field next to disabled camping.Thursday morning gypies rained punches on our tent in which people were sleeping.Assaulting a female asleep for no reason apart from fun.Dialled emergency number given for 24 hour helpline which went to voicemail .999 resulted in a respnse in 12 mins with my husbad having to leg it to the gate to met the police.The final result was that we had to move camp at 1.am to another area in the show ground or go home as the police or onsite security were unable to protect us due to the number of gypies on site.We did pitch somewhere else but the whole show was spoiled for us and our guests.Will not be returning.In my view too many beer tents,too many carrybags of booze and the not enough security .Also not enough toilets for campers,lighting ,rubbish collection and elsan tank overflowing.Seems modern fairground is pushing steam engines out.
