Default Pontefract Steam Rally 2011

Plenty of interesting items to view today bt the main reason for my visit to the first Pontefract show was to see and hear Mr Woods old and big Aveling engine which did not disappoint one bit .
The boiler on this engine is larger than any I have come across before.
There are some photo's and a video of the A&P at

A nice little rally, it's good to see the L&DTEC putting on a show.

I quite agree the A&P is a lovely job and worth the visit alone to see something new and different.
