I gather that the Sultan of Brunei was holding a graduation party for his son.... Janet Jackson was there and Eva Longiora Parker (who?), with Chaka Khan (if that's the way you spell it) playing in the evening. All from the local paper website - which also stated that the flowers cost £70,000
Sorry - I missed the earlier post on celebrities....! This was not the son who when learning to be a pilot was bought a Jumbo Jet by father as his 'driving school car'! The air display was by the Yakovlevs based at Combe Abbas in Dorset - they fly three YAK 50s and one two seat YAK 52. Think I''ve got it right. Oddly enough I saw their ground support van passing through Taunton on the Monday after Stapleford.
