If you are that worried about the rally being on or off rather than start 2 threads why didn't you contact the organisers

http://www.elvastonsteam.co.uk/contact.htm

Not difficult to find, rather than start rumours.

The Derbyshire County Show on the ground just across the road from Elvaston Rally site went ahead last weekend. With no major rain forecast over the next 10 days it's difficult to see why it would be cancelled.

Where do these rumours come from??

Wouldn't have thought so. The gorund at Elvaston is usually quite good for drainage. Even when it gets really wet and chews up, it soon dries up. Heres looking forward to another excellent weekend at Elvaston next week.
