First time at this Rally ,excellent weather and a great day out.
The rally seemed well attended and well organised my thanks to those involved.
I have been to rallies' where there is a "play-pen" though I have noticed that they do not seem to be used very much, most engines
seem to stay at there pegs apart from going in the ring is there a reason for this.

It could be too hot to play , or the organisers may not really be interested , seeing the playpen as a waste of space .

There is a play pen however with the grass being so dry movement was difficult. The ploughing engines normally go for a run round but they were spinning on the ground with it being so hard.

It was also so dry nobody really wanted to start any fires!

When you consider it was hot enough to fry an egg on the shovel - while it was still in the bunker, that may explain the lack of engine movement.
