Default IOW Steam Railway Steam Spectacular

Well worth a visit with some very choice commercials. Trains from Smallbrook running non stop to Wooton then back to Havenstreet - super run! Scooter rally at Ryde amazing.

Depends if you live on a road where you can hear them all the way down the hill and up on t'other side!

Pop, pop, poppopopopopop, poppetypoppetypop, pop, pop, pop and so on. Not to mention the stink of two stroke smoke.

Changing the subject.......I took the miniature, as per avatar, across to the beer tent on friday night.
As we were about to go back to the camp site a (miserable) woman said, in a loud voice "You've spoilt our evening". I asked how and why and apparently it was the smoke and steam from my engine.
I attempted to engage her in conversation along the lines that she was at a [I]steam[I] show (big clue there in the title) and there was much alternative seating available but she wasn't having any of it.

Some people, eh?

Common sense is like a flower that doesn't grow in every garden???? We had a woman came to our open weekend rally in a white two piece suit then tried to sue us for a new replacement, due to all the black smuts and burn holes she had suffered riding on our tracks behind steam locos.
