Default Robeys at McLeans Island 8&9th April

Best show yet at the Canterbury club's grounds, one of the highlights was to see 5 Robey engines gathered.

A couple of the Jarman family Robey outside the Sheffield hotel prior to the road run.

Great pics, thanks for posting.

What do the engines use for rubber tyres over there, are they all those massive dumper truck tyres cut down?

My tyres were from a motor scraper that used to work at a local coal mine. From memory they were 33.5' x 35" and with the side walls cut off will stretch over a 6'8" wheel. Most engines are on this type of tyre.

Hi Garry,
A photo for you, plus a few more of the event.
