Default Strumpshaw May 13

Managed to combine a trip to my daughter's in Norwich today with a visit to Strumpshaw Rally. It's the first time I have been to this event (visited the museum many moons ago when on holiday).

The weather was kind, beautiful day, plenty of engines to see both full size and miniature and grubbing around the stalls I managed to pick up some bits for the Ruston, even Mrs K was happy with the craft tent and other stalls so a good day was had by all. Only a few pictures I am afraid, became distracted!

Main reason for going was the miniatures and completely missed any pictures of those (sorry chaps!). Undoubtably there were some really nice engines there, no Ruston Proctor though unless I had my eyes shut! Star of the show had to be the 'steam dog' on Mr Holmes wagon though, what a character!

Paul.

You have got back wheel of our Ruston Proctor in Ploughing Engine picture. We were opposite Holmes model, you were obviously more interested in the dog than us Good pictures of other engine though. Had to come home early today to go spraying

Sorry, should qualify that, R&P SD Miniatures lol. I'm back in the shed today vainly trying to get mine in steam for August!
