Default Wybunbury Fig Pie Rolling

This is in the right place, it's not a wind up.
I organise a local charity event where the locals roll pies down a hill between the 2 pubs in the village. A few engines add to the atmosphere. Afraid I can't pay any expenses as it is a charity do but if you are in the South Cheshire area on the afternoon of Sat 11th June you will be welcome.

Sounds interesting...I would have come if I didin't have a rally on that weekend but I am booked in at Belper. I used to go through Wybunbury every weekend when visiting my parents.

Have fun.

Cheers

I know Wybunbury, it's a pretty little village but have never seen the Fig Pie event. These are a couple of photo's I took there last year. In the first photo I presume the White Lion on the left is the starting point? The perspective is a bit out so the hill looks less steep as I took it standing on the roof of the other pub at the time.

It was Easter and the 3 crosses in the Churchard there caught my eye.

David, don't go standing there on 'the day' you will be flattened by fig pies!
