Wollaton Hall Industrial Museum
I went over to the Wollaton Hall Industrial Museum in Nottingham today to get a dose of winter steam. Here are a selection of pictures I took:
Fowler K7 ploughing engine, 17757. Burrell 4083 standing infront of Wollaton Hall. Fowler K7 ploughing engine, 17756. Croskill 3 horse portable built in Beverley, Yorkshire, the only example in existence. J.T Marshall portable engine, unique survivor built at Sandiacre in Nottingham.

I'm not sure what the latest is on it's closure. It would be a shame to see it go as things like the beam engine would not been seen working again I shouldn't have thought. It's not really like the engines are stuffed and mounted either, one of the ploughers was moving about and the portable was in steam.
