Default Abbey Pumping Station, Toys in Steam 2010

Few pictures from Abbey Pumping station Steam Toys in Action today.

First time out for Tansley's trailer, looking just the part. The engine was roaded home through Leicester after this picture was taken.

I did see you walking round but couldn't get out to say hello because of the crowd. I must say it did seem as though it was a day out for Mrs Steam Scenes as she seemed to be enjoying the spectacle where as you looked bored to tears.

Good public attendance again this year, heard figures of 1800 through the doors.

lol - maybe it's because I've got most of those toys at home. I did fancy one of these toys though:

No, anything steam in Jan/Feb, I'll take it. There was at least 10 TT members there by my counting.

They always say that difference between men and boys is the size of their toys!!

The picture of the living van does not do justic to the smell of bacon lingering with the smoke, a welcome respite from the cold.

NIce to see you there David.
