Default Duncombe park rally.

Been today in scorching weather, 48 engines and plenty to see, well worth a trip up , lovely setting in the Yorkshire hills.

Chris.

We called in last night after work. Got there just in time to have a ride down to the market place on the back of Ian Fearnley's DG6. The drivers seat was offered, but tempting though it was, I couldn't steal the pleasure from someone so dedicated! The atmosphere was wonderful, with people looking happy to be there and basking in the glorious weather this traditional club event has waited patiently for and so richly deserves. 5 star rally and well worth the treck over the moors. Vern.

Default Duncombe Park Rally.......Fantastic weekend

We just back from the show and would like to say a big thank you to the show organisers and staff for a fantastic weekend.....wall to wall sun shine, great line up of engines and tractors and the turnout of engines outside the beer tent on saturday night was just breath taking !!, do think that Eddie the flag man (entertainment) was missed so hope to see him back next year.
Well done to all for making it one of the best shows in the North Yorkshire.

Great rally. Best rally in the North of England by a mile.

I called in for a few hours yesterday and can fully agree with all other comments, a superb rally in a beautiful setting. Highlight for me was seeing The President for the first time - not bad for a Burrell, sounded nice too while hauling a claimed 80 tons up the hill to and around the arena.

Here's a few pics for y'all. Apologies for the usual poor quality - to me they are "snap-shots" as I'm always too busy trying to see everything in a short time!

Great Rally, in a fantastic location, I think its the largest gathering of steam engines north of the Humber, I counted 53 full size locomotives
