Yes , even Fowlers tried cast front wheels . It is a long time since I looked at them , but I assume that they are the genuine article , unless some dislexic fitted a pair of Fowell wheels by mistake .

The engine, now owned by the Mack Family of North Norfolk, and is some times seen at shows in the Care of either John Mack or Scott Bunting. In its working life, she was sent for heavy overhaul at Fowell's, along with another fowler engine owned by the same person. So no, they are not cast wheels by Fowlers, No they are not original from when the engine was built, but where fitted during its working life by Fowells. She was sold new in 1898 to Oliver Rix near Fakenham, but I can not remember if it was in his ownership, or later that she was sent to Fowells to have the work carried out.
