Just a quick question and it may make me look like an idiot but why is the steering on the opposite on the Burrell roller? Is this a standard thing on rollers as Burrel road loco's etc are on the left?

We will have to find a heavy object with good brakes for next years Michalmas then - probably won't have a black lump to provide the braking

Oh and Mr Tool - I haven't the faintest idea, other than locos were generally operated by 2 bods where as rollers were designed to be operated by a single bod, having written that, if memory serves some TEs were steered from the RHS as well. I guess no one cared. I am sure someone much cleverer than me will know the answer.

All roller, rollers (not gmt's gnd's etc) are all on the right dont know why though?
