Pickfords Scammell Constructor

I have the task of selling my cousins ex Pickfords Scammell Constructor. I know its not steam but there does appear to be a lot of interest in heavy haulage generally.

This is the only surviving crew cab version of the 150 plus ton heavy 6 X 6 tractors with the PUC registration prefix. I know its not the 100 tonner or Peter's "Lion" but its a good piece of kit and is as far as i know the only running example with the crew cab.

Its all up and running, it even has the full set of scammell ballast weights, its a bit of a handful on the road but it will maintain 32 mph and a reasonable unladen MPG of 7. You can take 10 people in the cab and each have some form of seat! We have had a lot of fun with it but its time to move on.

It has a serious price tag, anyone interested please give me call. It needs someone sensible to look after it. We are looking for offers in the high £20K bracket so if you fancy a unique piece of proper Heavy Haulage history that you can see in several British Transport films and numerous books let me know. We are not desperate to sell so no silly offers please!
