Hi

I think Voluntary is the way to go, lots of people cough up more than one would if they were asked to pay, and then the few that really do struggle, are not excluded from the fun, just as they can't donate so much...

Of course you will always get the ones, who really don't pay anything for no real reason, other than being tight...

Cheers

Dave

Dave, The 'entrance fee' is a set amount so it's all or nothing. I think it was around £6 last year. Good value I.M.H.O.

Just got back ourselves and as Adam says a superb job indeed with the usual friendly faces, Lots going on in and around the town and all the engines nicely turned out.

Really good to see Ian Coopers Aveling out after much work and it still looks bang on as is.

Adam, is young Edward getting steam in his blood as he seemed to be having a ball not to mention chasing the girls around !!!

A great day out and the weather was kind. Beautiful day, warm with periods of hot sun. Good turn out of engines. Some regulars and some fresh faces. Did not see "Davy" or "Buzzy Bee". Perhaps tomorrow. Photos to follow
