I'd not been to the BCLM before - highly recommended, something for all the family. This Sunday (Father's Day) was particularly popular. Here's a picture taken late on Saturday once the crowds had gone.

oops yes I missed them off the list - I'dident take any photos of them. were mainly Mamod type models that i saw & a few trains. The only miniature traction engine i saw was on the back of a low loader.

Good photo there Rob, several of mine of Jesse on the saw bench were very disappointing. Must have been late if Sunday was anything to go by as it was very busy down in the village most of the day Sunday.

Yes i'd never been before, but its is very good with all the rebuilt buildings and authentic interiors & workshops, with the friendly 'actors' who will talk all day about the exhibits so need to go back to see some of the other exhibits as dident get round it all, same as when i went to Beamish.

Yes, too much to see in one day. However, tickets are valid for return visits for the rest of the year (as long as you signed their 'gift aid' form) - I did not see that mentioned on the web site.
