Just fully stripped smoke box and chimney back to bare today, hopefully paint over next couple of weeks ready for the run. Planning to do full route if it's not lashing it down.

There is loading/unloading space avaliable at Stotfold mill which is 200 yards from the chequers where the run will start from. There is also camping space avaliable if anyone wishes to stay especially with the evenings entertainment organised. Water will be avaliable on the road for models. We look forward to seeing everyone.

cheers Jamie, water on route is an added bonus, but had already checked the route out and found 2 handy cemeteries splitting the long section up in 3rds (always taps in cemeteries for flowers! )
