Default Ransomes Simms & Jefferies Light Steam Tractor

It is with regret I need to sell this model but lack of time and other projects mean my husband cannot finish it, but would like to think some other steam enthusiast could take over where he has left off rather than it just be forgotten.

At the moment it really is a rebuilding project as it had to be dismantled to have the new boiler made but it comes complete with everything needed to rebuild it including machined parts, plans by John Haining and a brand new boiler with a 12 month boiler certificate.
All you need is time !

£2500 ono

Default 2in scale Ransomes Simms & Jefferies Light Steam Tractor

I seem to have forgotten to put the size of this model in my previous ad so would just like to add a few things.

This model is in 2in scale. Its physical size is 22in long, 21in in height, the diameter of the back wheels are 9.5ins and the front wheels 6 and a 1/4.

I live near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire for anyone wanting to view it.

At the moment i dont have any pictures of this model but would be willing to take some if anyone would like to see the actual parts, but i do stress this model needs to be rebuilt, it is not complete, but having said that there is no machining to do only rebuilding.

The boiler was made by Cheddar Valley Steam in Somerset.

I will do my best to answer any more questions just ask.
